Myrtle E. (Betty) Thompson

Betty Thompson, of Smyrna, DE, age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2017 surrounded by her family.

She enjoyed golf, gardening, playing cards and spending time with family and her cat Bandit.

In addition to her parents, Ralph and Emily Marker, Betty is predeceased by 6 siblings.

She is survived by her siblings, Mary, Peggy, Barbara and John; her children, Linda Langshaw (Bob), Mark Thompson (Michele), Gary Thompson (Angela) and Lisa Bowser (Alan). In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, Ryan, Evan, Mark, Leah, George and Lauren.

A visitation will be held 11-11:30 am Friday April 28, followed by a Memorial Service at Elam United Methodist Church, 1073 Smithbridge Rd, Glen Mills PA.
