Bessie Corbin Williams Bell, 85, of Smyrna, DE went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Manor Care - Pike Creek, Wilmington, DE.

She was born in Sanford, VA on April 15, 1935, the daughter of the late Ralph Williams & Lacie White Williams.

She had formerly lived in Sanford, VA, Pocomoke City, MD, Souderton, PA, New Castle, DE and most recently, Smyrna, DE.

She was a homemaker, who's greatest joy was raising her five children and caring for her family. She also enjoyed bowling and spending time at the ocean. She was a long-time active member of Faith Baptist Church, Wilmington, DE.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Ellen McLeod (Duane), Jacob M. Bell III (Jan), Mark Wayne Bell (MaryAnn), Kimberly Kay Andress (Mark), and Karen Beth Seger (Royce); grandchildren Dave, Dan, Amy, Jodie, Jay, Jenna, Mark, Ian, Colin, Alex, Brandon, Connor, Josh, Emma, Heather, Jeremy, Zachary, Cameron, Kiley, Jillian, Emory, Chad, Chelsea, Bethany, and Nathan; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob M. Bell Jr.; a grandson, Chad Seger; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Matthews Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna. Please follow Covid-19 guidelines for masks and distancing.
