Barbara Ann (Pernol) Bailey, of Smyrna, passed away on Monday May 6, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was 73.

Barbara was born in Smyrna, DE, and lived there her whole life. She was an artist who loved painting and making crafts. She also loved spending time with her family and many friends. She was the glue that held the Bailey family together, and was the always the woman to turn to.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George Larry Bailey; two granddaughters, Brittney Bailey, of Townsend, DE, and Courtney Bailey, of Albion, Illinois; two great-grandchildren, Kentley and Camdyn Bailey; and two sisters, Fay Lawrence and Charlotte Traverse, of Smyrna.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Urian; and her son, David Bailey.

She will be missed by her many family members and friends.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday May 25 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 20 W. Mt. Vernon St., Smyrna.
