Anna Frances Schrader, of Smyrna, passed away on August 13, 2018 at Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover. She was 82.

She was born in Wilmington, DE on December 13, 1935 to the late Rufus M. and Mary A. (Porter) Abrams. She was a graduate of Newark High School and retired after many years of service as an auditor for the University of Delaware. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George V. Schrader Jr.; a son, Allen M. Schrader; three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth, of Dover, George III (Diane), of Smyrna, Gail Swieder (Don), of Clayton, and Harold (Carole), of Smyrna; ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; three sisters, one brother, and a special friend, Cathy Swanson, of Townsend.

Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday August 21 at the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. Dupont Hwy., New Castle, DE, where friends may call at 10 AM. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
