Andrew Begley, 76 of Clayton, DE. passed away on June 21st 2023, at Bayhealth Hospital Kent Campus. He is survived by his daughter Mandy J. Langford of Clayton, DE. and two grandsons Jeremy Begley and Gavin Begley of Clayton, DE.

Son of the late Alice M. (McKenna) and John J. Begley, Andrew was born on March 28th 1947, in New York City, New York. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mary Jo Begley of Dover, DE. and his wife Joan Begley of Clayton, DE.

As a devoted and active advocate in the Autism community, Andrew never hesitated to extend a helping hand to anyone and everyone whom he crossed paths with. Through his kindness and generosity, he has touched the lives of many. With a heart of gold and being wise beyond his years, Andrew was that " One of a kind" person anyone could confide in. Whether seeking advice or someone to pour their heart and soul to, he was always there when you needed someone most. A dedicated and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Andrew Begley will be forever missed and never forgotten.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Friday September 15th at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, DE. Interment will be private.
